Kerala Steamed Bread Pudding with Custard.



Ingredients
Homo milk - as required
Sugar - as required
Vanilla essence - 1 tbsp
Eggs - 3 nos
Custard Powder - 5 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Sugar cherries
Cashews & Raisins

Directions
Add custard powder to milk and boil
Break apart white bread without the crust and add the above custard into bread
Add vanilla essence, butter, eggs and blend
Add crushed nuts and raisins and mix well
Steam for about 10 - 20 minutes
Set aside to cool
Refrigerate for a least 3 hours

In a separate pan boil custard powder with milk again to a semi thick consistency.
Set aside to cool and then refrigerate.

Cut the pudding into little squares into a bowl. Add the custard on top of the pudding. Add a few cherries on top.
